Short Bio

Born and raised in the New York City area, Ed has been living and working in San Diego for the past 25+ years. His paintings have been exhibited in juried shows at Art on 30th St where he has also had (2) one man shows.

Statement

I work with metal effects paints (iron, copper, bronze) which change color as they oxidize, creating a lovely brown/green/blue patina.  The process yields dramatic yet naturalistic effects which evoke the passage of time and my longing for an idealized lost past.
